Your files

Every tool on this site processes your files inside your own browser. Whatever you open here, a photo, a PDF, a video, or a block of text, is not transmitted to us or written to a server. We never receive them, so there is nothing for us to pass on to anyone else.

What we do collect

We collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (which pages are visited, and roughly where in the world visitors are) to work out which tools are worth building more of. This data is not tied to an identity and cannot be traced back to you.

We do not ask for an account, an email address, or any personal information.

Advertising

This site currently shows no advertising. No ad network runs here, so no advertising cookies are set and nothing about your visit is shared with one.

That may change, because running the site costs something and advertising is the likeliest way to cover it. If ads are ever introduced, this page will be updated to say exactly who serves them and what they collect, before they appear.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies. It keeps a few things in your browser's own storage, which stays on your device and is never sent anywhere:

• The light or dark theme, if you pick one with the switch in the header.
• A draft of the document you are writing in LaTeX to PDF, so it is still there when you come back. Only the text is kept, not added figures or other files. Untick "Keep a draft in this browser" on that page to delete it and keep nothing.
• A file dropped on the home page, until the tool you pick opens it.
• Where the sidebar was scrolled, for this tab only.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. Clearing cookies and site data in your browser removes everything this site has stored on your device.
